One of my key objectives when establishing Bumpalicious Maternity was that it gave something back and supported a local charity. I have always given to charity whenever I can and I wanted to make sure that my business did the same. I was very conscious of the fact that large, national charities already have relatively high profiles and that they have larger fund raising budgets than smaller charities. I also wanted to support a charity that I knew made a difference. As such, I chose to support Baby Lifeline, a charity which supports the care of pregnant women and new born babies all over the UK and worldwide.

This is what the Victorians thought of pregnancy. I thought it may raise a smile or two. Do they ring any bells or have we moved on since then?

You really do need to make sure that you drink enough - water that is – during your pregnancy. You should drink at least eight large glasses of water or other hydrating drinks a day.
