I often buy clothes online. My two biggest concerns are always:-

- are the clothes really as lovely as they look in the photographs; and

- will they be the right size?

I can assure you that we only stock beautiful, good quality maternity clothes. They really are as lovely as they look in the photographs.

Unfortunately, I can't always guarantee that you will be able to pick the correct size. As with non-maternity clothes, sizing varies from brand to brand. We do have detailed sizing guides in our "Sizing Guide" link and we try to make this as detailed as possible. However, we are all different shapes and you are a totally different shape now that you are pregnant. You may well find that you are not quite sure what pregnancy size you are even if you were absolutely certain before.

The basic rule that you should be able to stick with your pr e-pregnancy size is a good one as maternity wear does stick to the well established size guides and simply provides more room for your bump. This is great if you only gain a standard amount of weight during your pregnancy, say 20 - 30 pounds.

However, this doesn't apply to all of us. I gained over two stone during my first pregnancy and went up two dress sizes. I also put on weight after my pregnancy and needed breastfeeding clothes in a larger size.

I can't absolutely guarantee that we will get the size right 100% of the time but we really will do our best to try. I can also ensure you that all the information you provide to us remains totally confidential and does not get passed to anyone else.
